Despite the departure of Udo Dirkschneider and his successor, the unknown David Reece, Accept turned in a solid performance on Eat The Heat. Although this album is definitely more commercial than any of its predecessors, tracks such as "Hellhammer," "X-T-C," and "Prisoner" still have that signature Hoffmann guitarwork and Accept "bite." Yes, Accept was more than merely Udo - steadfasts Peter, Wolf, and Steffan were all present for this recording. If you call yourself an Accept fan and don't own this album yet, I suggest acquiring it while you still can. Reece's vocals are obviously different from Dirkschneider's, but while listening to it I don't confuse it with another band other than Accept. And for all you die-hard Udo fans, you can hear his vocals in the background of "Turn The Wheel Around."

"Here a rare demo tape from `88. I found it a week ago on my attic. At that time I published some metal magazines, and got this tape from Chris Warren and Sandra Thomas. On the Metal Archives site I found some information about the '87 demo, "Under A Strange Spell". My handwritten tape without cover, contains 17 songs in a different order then that of the `87 tape. It`s from `88 and have 17 tracks includes 4 different songs that the `87 tape. I never heard or seen the `87 tape, so I don`t know if the songs sounds the same as my demo but it`s a different tape for sure, with that extra songs. Perhaps somebody know`s more about their demo tapes. Enjoy."

"Hurry Scuary" was formed back in 1983 in Osaka, after guitarist Hideaki Nakama left his former band, "Anthem" After some rehearsels and practising, two little songs were recorded, which earned them to be part of the "Battle of Metal, a compilation album of bands emerging in the country of the rising sun in which bands were "Marino", "Sexual", and "Rajas". At that time the band consisted of 5 members. After some time only  4 members remained. These "yellow" metal is soaked with a western (read American) style of Metal, managing to be considered the main candidate to occupy a privileged place in the Japanese metal scene these days, even having released a single disc on the market. A very good rock band, led by Nakama, the main figure, has come to record solo albums during this the time as well. This is an album from 1988, their only full length, full of melodies not to mention the participation of Paul Raymond on keyboards, the same one who replaced Danni Peyronel in UFO back in 1976, and co-writer in the compositions of Michael Schenker solo albums.
