Born Again is the eleventh studio album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in August 1983. It is the only album the group recorded with lead vocalist Ian Gillan, best known for his work with Deep Purple. The album has received mixed reviews from critics, but was a commercial success upon its 1983 release, reaching No. 4 in the UK charts as well as the top 40 in the United States.

Brillant album lacking horribly on the production side. It's a little better with this version compared to the vinyl or the first CD, but still...

Totally agree.This album could never come close to the other albums sound production.
Gillan's voice makes the tunes closer to rock rather than metal.
I remember I read somewhere that the song ''Keep it Warm'' was written about Gillan's girlfriend back then.. lol

I like this album quite a bit, maybe indeed the production is not up to standards, but still an enjoyable listen.

Well maybe the studio bootleg can be of an enjoyable listen too. Two tracks of this bootleg ended up indeed on this Deluxe Edition. I posted this bootleg on the blog.
